I do love a contest that motivates me to try new food concoctions…
“Iron-chefs Food Bloggers, your ingredient is… MUSTARD!” Not just any mustard, an array of delicious Saucy Mama mustards from Barhyte. Tarragon Lemon Mustard, Champagne Honey Mustard, Smokey Garlic Mustard, Dijon Mustard, Chipotle Mustard and Suzie’s Yellow Mustard… oh, the possiblities!
Saucy Mama Smokey Garlic Mustard Sweet Potato Skinny Fries are my first contest entry, they disappeared just minutes after they came out of the oven.
Smokey Garlic Mustard Sweet Potato Skinny Fries
- 4 cups sweet potatoes (16-ounces)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Saucy Mama Smokey Garlic Mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Peel and julienne sweet potatoes to desired size. In a small bowl mix remaining ingredients. Toss sweet potatoes with sauce mixture to coat completely. Spread sweet potatoes in a single layer on a non-stick baking sheet. Bake in a preheated, 400º oven, 15-25 minutes or until potatoes reach desired doneness.
