Saucy Mama Dijon Kielbasa Crock Pot Dinner

I do love my crockpot.  There is nothing like the “fix-it” and “forget-it” meal preparation method for easing stress on a busy day.  This is an extremely affordable meal with some great nutritional benefits.  This is entry #2 in the Saucy Mama’s “Skinny Mama – Cooking With Mustard” contest.

Saucy Mama Dijon Kielbasa Crock Pot Dinner

  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 8 cups cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Saucy Mama Dijon mustard
  • 1 13-ounce turkey polska kielbasa

In the crockpot, layer onions, cabbage and raisins.  In a small bowl, thoroughly mix broth, vinegar and mustard.  Pour over cabbage and top with kielbasa.  Cook on high-heat 3-3 1/2 hours or low-heat 4 1/2-5 hours.
