IFBC 2013 Recap

Note the time... 5:00am!

Note the time… 4:57 am!

It’s been a week and I have almost caught up from my fantastic weekend in Seattle at the International Food Bloggers Conference.  Much like IFBC 2012, we participated in a wide-range of activities from food photography to writing to sessions about making blogs more efficient.  There was a nice mix of wonderful food sampling and time spend learning about new products in the world of food.  The best part, as usual was meeting other people in the food industry and the world of blogging about food.  It was the one place where no one gave the eye roll when cameras were whipped out to photograph everything going into their mouths and no one could stop talking food.

The highlights were many…

A very early morning tour to watch Pike Place Market wake up. Fantastic for all the seafood photos I needed. Thanks to Barry Martin, tour guide extraordinaire.

And I can’t forget about all the window shopping I did running back and forth to Pike Place Market.  Now, to get invited somewhere that I can wear this dress!
